We are a different type of startup accelerator. what do you need to join?

what is OGA's role in this?

$5k-$100k/month in gross profit with 20%+ growth... KIDDING. All you need is a passion or an idea. To our entrepreneurs, you don't need to have a product or prototype. To our partners, you don't need to have gone to graduate school for your respective field. A willingness to commit and give it your all is the only universal requirement. However, Entrepreneurs should apply with a strong idea of a product or service. Partners should have some degree of experience in their respective fields. what is OGA's role in this?

After reviewing all of our applicants, we carefully assemble teams to make the idea turn into a reality. For example, say an "entrepreneur" has an idea for a new tech platform that we think could do well, but the individual has no programming experience. We then match the individual with "partners" to build a team which in this case may consist of programmers, web developers, and graphic designers. This becomes the group of "founders," and we at OGA act as a board of directors -- giving guidance, oversight, and general support to the company.

OGA was founded on the basis of providing entrepreneurial opportunities for the next generation of global leaders. Unlike most startup accelerators, we are resource and strategy based, rather than fiscally based. What this means is that rather than a complex application process, months of interviews and presentations, and hours spent traveling and negotiating, we make it easy. You can apply with an idea and have no prototype, no funding, and no experience in the field, and we may approve you. We rely on ideas and passion to match cofounders and set them up to become the next big thing.

can you make money from this?

Of course! Like you, we are part of the next generation of entrepreneurs and business leaders, so we established OGA as a channel for young people to make real money. Once you successfully launch you company, you and your cofounders will be able to profit off of your ideas and hard work. Furthermore, being a cofounder of a startup is a great bonus for college/graduate school applications and job résumés.
